The Honors College Admissions Committee considers several aspects of an applicant’s profile when making an admissions decision:
Students must be admitted to Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çbefore they can be admitted to the Honors College.
Our priority deadline is January 15th. The final deadline to apply is April 15th.
If you are an incoming freshmen who has been accepted to the Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çHonors College, you must enroll into Honors 101 or Honors 200 your first Fall semester.
Current Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çstudents and transfer students interested in the Honors College are invited to apply for admissions by completing our short application.
As a Cincinnati State Honors graduate, you are automatically admitted to the Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çHonors College when you transfer. However, you still need to submit the above application to the Honors College.
To graduate as an Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çUniversity Honors Scholar upon transfer from Cincinnati State's Honors College, you must complete the following coursework:
HNR 200
HNR 300 level course
Honors Capstone Project (6 credit hours)
