Logan credits a job he had with Home Depot as his first encounter with supply chain. βI talked with an upper manager in operations and he kind of described the process to me of how their supply chain works and I found that like just baffling how something can get from one place to another going through all these different processes and that's why I figured supply chain's best.β Logan said.
Further, Logan describes his time working in the garden center as solidifying his interest in Global Supply Chain. βI worked in the garden section so that's an even bigger, during the springtime you get all these flowers and you know you get all these trucks coming in with all these different flowers and it's just amazing how they all come off the truck, they're all perfect condition. And you know this takes a lot of people working together to get it to this place on time.
Finally, Logan says, βI love supply chain.β When asked why he answered, βThere's a lot of opportunities with it. I feel like there's a lot of job security with it and these, you know, next few decades, it's going to be a large process of how we advance as a civilization. And I think it's important for me to find a way to get myself into that.
