Pathway guides are advising tools designed to help community college students plan for transferring to Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çto complete their baccalaureate degree. Pathway guides include all of the following:

• Degree and graduation requirements from the 2-year institution
• Degree and graduation requirements from the 4-year institution
• General Education from 2-year institution
• If not general education certified through a general education agreement or student has an AAS degree, remaining general education courses from the 4-year institution
• A checklist of courses required for the degree
• Pathway agreements are typically viewed as two-plus-two types of agreements but can require greater than 120 hours to complete.

A student who completes all the courses listed on a particular pathway guide will earn an Associate degree from Sinclair. The student is guaranteed that all the Sinclair courses indicated in the pathway will be accepted at Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çand that the courses will count toward completion of a particular major. If a Sinclair student transfers to another college, he or she is not guaranteed that all courses will transfer.
